Credit is the area where people get sold the hardest, so we are going to be plain about it.
What you can do yourself, free
- You are entitled to free copies of your credit reports from the nationwide consumer reporting agencies.
- You have the right to dispute information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete, directly with the bureau or the furnisher.
- The bureau generally must investigate a dispute and tell you the result.
What nobody can promise you
No one can promise a score, a number of points, a timeline, or the removal of accurate, current information. Anyone who does is telling you something the law does not allow them to tell you. We do not make those promises, and you should walk away from anyone who does.
Where help is genuinely worth it
- Reading the report line by line so you know what is actually on it.
- Organizing documentation so a dispute is specific instead of vague.
- Understanding how utilization, age, and payment history interact.
- Building a plan you can keep for the next twelve months.
General education only. We do not promise any credit outcome, score change, or removal, and results depend on your own accurate information.
